“This album concept has been on my heart and “to do” list for the last 28 years in my role as a Record Producer and studio musician. I wanted a unique, if not eclectic, product that would show who I am as a creative and be a vehicle to share my personal story through some of the songs.
Over nearly three decades,Tim put many songs to tape. Mostly by himself, tracking instruments and scratch vocals until talented friends showed up to add to the production. This album was largely built this way. Rick Morris helped so much, arranging backing vocals, horns and doing lots of mixing once we focused on finishing it!
My brother Jim, a skilled musician and songwriter, had a few songs that we could finish up together. They came out great, so we included them in this album. Additionally, my primary engineer, Xander Macnab made all ready nearly every time for every session, and helped with the mixes. The, of course my wife, Laura, lent her immeasurable music skills; co-writing, coaching my vocal tracks and adding her own beautiful voice wherever I needed. There were many other pros on board, and many cheerleaders pushing to get this album out.
